Summary: This was a wonderful place to stay for 10 days in July. The garden is a delight with the pool, garden furniture and shade from mature trees. We spent more time outside than in. The house is old and very well refurbished with everything you need. Thick stone walls and small windows means it stays cool indoors even without the aircon. Krk island is busy but the villa is in a quiet location so very peaceful. You really need a car to get to most places although there is a local restaurant within walking distance. There are good supermarkets about 7 mins in the car and the beaches and port of Malinsaka is about 10 minutes, Lots of shops and restaurants and all the tourist stuff you need. The towns of Krk and Vrbnik are well worth a visit and there are lots of other beaches on the island. These are not sandy, you need beach shoes and will often have to climb over rocks but the swimming is wonderful.
